CTIS’ Safety Profiler Pocket PC passes Designed for Windows Mobile Test
As a part of the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Program, CTIS succeeded Microsoft’s Designed for Windows Mobile logo test and recertified the Safety Profiler-Pocket CTC application using the new Windows Mobile 6.0 Operating System requirements. The evaluation, when passed, allows product listings on Microsoft’s Mobile2Market application catalog. With this designation, CTIS may use Microsoft’s Designed for Windows Mobile logo to promote its certified products on websites, retail packaging, and marketing materials.

CTIS’ Enterprise Core Module (ECM) meeting caBIG® Bronze Compatibility Requirements
George A. Komatsoulis, Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance at NCI’s Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT), stated that CTIS had concluded a second review of Enterprise Core Module and found that the system meets all requirements for caBIG® Bronze compatibility.

Highest Priority Investment Ranking
The Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program’s (CTEP) Information Technology (IT) investment was ranked the number one priority investment after business case review and ranking. The ranking is part of the Office of management and Budget (OMB) Exhibit 300, a capital asset plan submitted for major IT systems and IT budget initiatives at the Department Health and Human Services (DHHS). The report justifies new or continued funding for major IT investments and/or projects by demonstrating a direct connection to the President's Management Agenda, the DHHS Strategic Goals, positive return on investment (ROI), sound acquisition planning, risk mitigation and management planning, realistic cost and schedule goals, measurable performance benefits, and adherence to architecture, security, and privacy standards. Benefit areas evaluated for CTEP included drug approval process, patient monitoring and reporting, protocol idea to implementation, drug order processing, queries, and technology reuse and sharing. The OMB CTEP report shows an over 265% ROI to the government with an ROI average of over 300% for the last five years.

CTIS attains Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status
CTIS has successfully attained Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status, the highest partner level program within Microsoft, for the fourth consecutive year, with 150 points. CTIS achieved this status by leveraging different expertise areas within the organization ranging from Solution Competencies and Employee Certifications to Tested Products and Customer References.

CTIS, Inc. receives CMMi Maturity Level 3 Certification
CTIS has received CMMI Maturity Level 3 certification. Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMi) is a framework developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of Carnegie Mellon University for the U.S. Department of Defense that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes. This process improvement approach facilitates communication through integrated models that transcend disciplines. The Business Transformation Institute (BTI) performed a three-week appraisal and announced today that CTIS, Inc. has attained Level 3 certification. The Level 3 rating indicates that CTIS’ software processes are defined and institutionalized across the organization.

CTIS’ Docu-MART meets caBIG® Bronze Compatibility Requirements
CTIS received notification from George A. Komatsoulis, Director Compliance at NCI’s Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT), stating that they had concluded their review of Docu-MART documentation and found that the system meets all requirements for caBIG® Bronze compatibility.

CTIS Receives CMMi Level 2 Certification & CMMi Capability Level 3.
CTIS is proud to announce their CMMi Level 2 certification, received on November 17, 2006. This success comes after one year of dedicated work and preparation, beginning in November 2005. Six Process Area Working Groups ensured that their Process Areas were CMMi compliant by examining CMMi requirements, Specific Practices and Specific Goals, and applying them to CTIS practices.
