“Continuous Education and Optimization (CEO) Driven Healthcare”
“Building a Personalized Health Solution for Prevention, Intervention and Management of Diseases”
CTIS’ future is to enhance through the use of Information Technology (IT) the outcome of the healthcare industry. CTIS will pioneer with its innovation where IT no longer is an enabler but a driver in changing the paradigm of care in the healthcare industry. The Purpose and Goal to develop a new paradigm of highly personalized and comprehensive information-based healthcare solution. This model is to be integrated with, and driven by translational and comparative research designed to converge life science and healthcare. An effective model will improve the quality and outcomes of therapy, prevent/detect disease as early as possible, increase patient safety, and decrease the cost of care.
The new paradigm of care is to provide at point of care better integration of process, participation, performance and price of care resulting in improved outcome, higher safety and reduction in cost for the healthcare stakeholders. Central to CTIS’ strategy is to reduce the major cost areas in the healthcare industry specifically in chronic disease management (communicable and non-communicable diseases), health disparities, eldercare and children care. Such a model maximizes patient-specific healthcare intelligence at the point of care. Additionally, it improves the Process, Performance, Participation, and Price of Care by utilizing novel analytical tools and informatics resources.

CTIS’ strategy is to converge Translational Research and Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) and bring them to patient care environment through Personalized Medicine (PM) mechanisms where targeted and tailored treatments will be provided to patients. This will be achieved by integrating and interfacing Biological/Genomics, Clinical/Medical, Lifestyle/Behavior, Social/Cultural, and Administrative/Financial patient-specific data to be delivered through Personal Health Record (PHR)/ Electronic Health Record (EHR) informatics applications at point of care. This will provide the Payors, the Providers, the Physicians and the Patients the needed information and knowledge that will not only support the targeted and tailored treatment but also move towards prevention and better diagnostics at a lower cost.
This new paradigm of building a patient specific data warehouse will contribute to building a population-based data warehouse which will foster use of analytics and provide substantial business intelligence and the ability to extract meaningful data and create useful data sets that can be provided to the physicians and the patients at point of care through mobile devices.Providing The Right Treatment For The Right Patient At The Right Time.

Overall, the integration of Clinical Research, Clinical Care, Public Health and Health Education thorough Health Information Technology (HIT) will contribute to a substantial reduction in cost and provide a better standard of care. CTIS expects to be at the forefront of this new paradigm of care with its in-depth capacity and IT process re-engineering and organizational development across the healthcare ecosystem.
