Job Description Overview:
We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Deputy Director for Communication, Exchange & Mobile Solutions with working organizational experience on the state or national level. Applicants should have at least five years of working practice in the area of communications, health disparities, health policy or related fields as well as experience in project start up and management. The Deputy Director reports directly to the Project Director and is viewed as the primary source, disseminator and conduit of information within a diverse network and constituent base. The Deputy Director will work closely with the senior peer group within the organization, as the primary communications are on a variety of strategic policy initiatives. Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course-work in communications, mass media or a related field is required. A Master's degree is desirable. Job Description Overview:
We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Deputy Director of Health Education & Training. Applicants should have at least five years of working experience in the areas of health education, educational training, community health, health disparities, health policy intervention or related fields. The Deputy Director of Health Education and Training reports directly to the Project Director, and will work closely with a senior peer group within the organization. The Deputy Director will have corporate responsibility for leading the project’s work in relation to health education, and training with a forward-looking approach to the development of healthcare policy and initiatives that lead to the active engagement of our constituent partners. This individual will strive to promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health by instructing individuals and communities to adopt healthy behaviors. They will also collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies and environments. Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in public health, social work, health sciences, health administration, or a closely related field is required. Job Description Overview:

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Community Liaison.  Applicants should have at least five years of working experience in the area of community health, health disparities, health policy intervention or related fields. The Community Liaison reports directly to the Project Director, and will work closely with our senior peer group within the organization. The Community Liaison will primarily be responsible for raising awareness of residents about issues that are going on in the community regarding health and policy. Conduct outreach activities designed to promote the organization and its services to the community. Administers programs aimed at addressing the needs of the surrounding area. Develops relationships with community leaders and serves as the organization's liaison with various organizations in the community.

Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in public health, social work, health sciences, health administration, or a closely related field. Required Skills: The desired candidate will have excellent written and public speaking skills.  Will plan, organize, coordinate and attend community meetings for the Health Policy Research Consortium (HPRC).  Ability to work as a team member.

Public Health Officer (HPRC Program)

Job Description Overview:

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Public Health Officer.  Applicants should have at least five years of research experience in the area(s) of social structure, local governments, municipal frameworks, health disparities, health policy or related fields and policy intervention. The Health Officer reports directly to the Principal Investigator/Project Director, and will work closely with a senior peer group within the organization. An advanced scientific degree (Doctorate or equivalent) in public health, health policy, behavioral or social science discipline and a broad interest in science. Required Skills: The desired candidate will design, organize, and coordinate the research component of the Health Policy Research Consortium (HPRC). This candidate will have proven experience in conducting research, preferably Community Based Participatory Research. Candidate will have published in a scholarly journal, and will be responsible for producing research papers that are publication ready.
