Senior Systems Analyst

Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst

Duties: Serve as a Technical lead on strategic projects. Coordinate IT project activities. Lead project development team including managing requirements engineering initiatives with client, modeling business applications, and managing the entire SDLC. Develop system level project plans, coordinating the development and integration activities. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system performance. Document and develop functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements. Upgrade existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine capabilities of existing system. Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Analyze the system requirements and propose technical solutions that involve implementation of the system and sub-systems. Integrate other systems and sub-systems as part of the solution. Interact with the Project Manager, Business Analyst, Client and lead the development team. Develop technical solution, wire frames, layouts, skinning and mock-ups to meet requirement specifications. Develop frameworks, technology justifications.

Requirements:  Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and five years of progressively responsible IT experience in systems analysis and design with two years hands-on experience in design, develop and integration of health care domain related applications. Experience must include Healthcare Analytics Platform experience; expertise in design, develop and integrate the systems using .Net, Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, Python, Jython, HT'ML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax; expertise in developing interactive web application development using Adobe Flex; expertise in mobile application development using xCode; design and Development experience of SOAP and RESTFUL web services; experience in design and develop interfaces/maps, adapters/connectors. Knowledge of software lifecycle methodology required. Will accept Master's Degree (or foreign equiv) + 2 years experience in lieu of Bachelor’s + 5. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience will be accepted.
